Here’s a step-by-step process of how our agency works:
- Fill Out and Submit our Application
This form will help us get to know you better and determine whether your perspectives on childcare aligns with ours.
- Schedule an In-Person Interview
Pending review of your initial application, Boston Collegiate Nannies will call you to schedule an in-person interview, during which we will ask follow-up questions to become better acquainted with your preferences and areas of expertise.
- Conduct Background Screening and Reference Check
For those applicants selected to represent our agency, we will conduct a criminal background check and call all professional references.
- Attend Our Savvy Sitter Training Course
All selected candidates must attend one of our Savvy Sitter Training courses, during which you’ll review childcare basics, etiquette, and protocols for working as a Boston nanny. You will also complete the CPR certification program.
- Schedule an Interview
We will work with you and perspective families to arrange a time to interview. If the first family you meet isn’t a strong match, we will arrange additional interviews as needed.
- Select a Family
Once you’ve found the right family and given either a verbal or written commitment, please let us know.
- Stay in Touch
We invest a lot of time and energy in matching our nannies with the right family, and it’s important to us that you are satisfied with your experience with our agency. Please keep in touch and let us know how the placement is working for you and for the family.
